Inspect & Collect offers a real time, fully configurable damage and charge matrix, tailored to suit your requirements. With nationwide coverage and robust back office support, DMN Inspect & Collect removes the subjectivity from the inspection process to ensure operations work transparently and in harmony.
All inspections are date, time stamped and geotagged, and carried out to zero tolerance with the agreed background matrix identifying which damage is out of standard.
All damage is imaged, and a signature obtained at the point of inspection, and importantly, the vehicle is immediately removed from the client’s location in one seamless transaction.

What is trade plate delivery?
Trade plate delivery means that your car is being driven by a driver who will carry a set of trade plates.
What are trade plates for?
Trade Plates, when displayed correctly, allow a vehicle without a valid road fund licence to be driven on the roads legally.
Is my car insured by DMN Logistics?
Every vehicle is covered by our fully comprehensive insurance policy with Allianz. We are very happy for you to see and retain copies of our insurance certificates and schedules.
My car has no MOT – can it be driven using trade plates?
No. Trade plates are displayed where a valid road fund licence is not available. Any vehicle we deliver must be safe and road-legal in every way which includes a valid MOT.
Will my car be delivered on the same day?
Sometimes if a journey is particularly long, or collection times do not allow, we will collect a vehicle on one working day and deliver on the next – this is often referred to as a “carryover”. The vehicle is parked securely overnight either in a storage compound or an off-road on a driveway or in our delivery driver’s garage.
Do you provide fuel?
If required, we will fuel the vehicle for the journey and recharge it at cost price to you. We use the minimum fuel required for each journey and if the vehicle already has fuel we won’t add any more (unless you ask us to!). We can provide an indicative guideline on how much fuel will be used – please feel free to get in touch and ask us.
What happens if the vehicle breaks down?
We will call you to advise of any problems, and to find out how you would like to resolve the situation. If your vehicle has breakdown cover we always prefer to use this. However, we do have full breakdown assistance cover from the RAC if the vehicle is not already covered. We recharge breakdown assistance costs to you at cost.
When can you deliver my vehicle?
We aim to deliver vehicles within 3 working days from the point of order, and we perform to a 98% on-time success rate. If you need an urgent delivery, then please get in touch and we will do our best to help you.
